At NESMA, we believe that partnership and collaboration with other organizations is at the heart of humanitarian response, and it can only lead to stronger services for the people we serve. To this end, NESMA is seeking to build new partnerships with local organizations in Syria and Turkey, either to:
1) implement projects that are funded by NESMA, or;
2) to collaborate with NESMA on submission of joint proposals to institutional donors, with NESMA as the lead applicant.
This call for Expression of Interest is open to all existing and/or new prospective NGO partners of NESMA that:
1) operate in northwest Syria and/or Turkey; and
2) share common goals related to the delivery of programming to alleviate human suffering and promote self-reliance, while preserving the dignity of those we serve. Find the application here, and to learn more click here.
NESMA does not stand alone in its efforts to support Syrians in need. Many NGOs representing the Syrian Diaspora communities in the world and International NGOs have contributed to the relief operations. Coordination, collaboration, and partnership are essential tools to avoid duplication and waste, increase capacity and cover the needs of local populations and refugees.
NESMA has been coordinating its efforts partnering with many local Syrian NGOs, US-based NGOs like Karam Foundation, SRD, and SSF, Syrian Diaspora NGOs like North East Syria Medical Association, and International NGOs, like ICRC, IRC, and the UN agencies.
